Everyone is wondering what happened on the last episode of ER. This is what happened:

The show opens with Tony in the ambulance bay on a rainy night. He takes in a teenager who passed out during a drinking game at a party named Stacy. Lydia wakes up Dr. Morris for another patient – this one an old woman who slipped and fell near the first truck (which is who brought her in). They’ve got no ID on her.

Next door Tony’s working on Stacy and it doesn’t look good.

Three hours later (7 AM), Dr. Australian comes in and gets the rundown. Dr. Morris checks in on his elderly patient (Beverly), who is now awake but who can’t remember her last name.

Tony’s patient is alive, but barely. She’s on a tube and he’s waiting to see if she wakes up. He allows Stacy’s friends to come into the room, but while he’s waiting he calls Samantha and wishes her a happy birthday. The teen girls file in and say that they were drinking vodka and Kool Aid and were playing “I never” – and that Stacy won. The parents of one of the girls – the girls house the party was at – supplied the alcohol because they rather they be drinking at home. (nice moves dumbasses) Tony has the nurse call the police.

Dr. Morris runs down the board for everyone and heads out. Dr. Brenner tells Chaz that he is to squire around a number of potential med students today.

Before Morris leaves, however, Beverly’s daughter comes in and he goes into her room. He finally manages to give the daughter a rundown and walks into the ambulance bay and screams “freedom!”

The rest of the recap is below!

The police show up in the waiting room and Tony has a showdown with the father. The father gets arrested.
Dr. Brenner and a slew of doctors and nurses meet an ambulance carrying a construction worker who is badly injured. Meanwhile Tony gets to talk to Stacy’s parents.

Dr. Carter is showing the Carter Center to…to…DR. SUSAN LEWIS AND DR. KERRY WEAVER! They look great! He admits that he has spent a good deal of the Carter fortune to get the center up, and he’s happy about it.

Dr. Wise (a newer doc who looks very familiar…) is taking care of a sick older man who is having trouble breathing. Dr. Brenner finds bilateral effusions in the patient and they work to remove the fluids in his lung.

Tony finally decides to go home but asks Frank to call him if something happens to Stacy. Another of her friends is in the waiting room and asks to see Stacy. Tony tells her about how serious the situation is and says she wasn’t at the party. Apparently Stacy was texting her the entire night and told her she was sick and vomiting. She feels guilty because she didn’t call anybody – she was upset that her parents hadn’t let her go to the party and thought Stacy being sick was funny. She cries on Tony’s shoulder.

Chaz starts walking around the potential med students at 1 PM. A familiar face is in the group of students…Rachel Greene!

Dr. Wise gets bad news back on her patient and tells him, a man who has been treating his AIDS since 1987, that he has cancer.

Dr. Carter shows up at the ER. Brenner tells Carter that they have a pregnant woman coming in and he heads out to help. She is a 36 year old woman pregnant with twins and her water broke at home. The woman starts pushing and the little baby girl starts crying. Dr. Carter shows the baby off to the new mom and heads back for the second baby. The husband finally shows up and is led back as Rachel Greene starts looking around by herself.

Frank doesn’t remember her at all until she says who she is. He then gets very teary eyed.

The father is holding the new baby, Camille, and the second baby is ready to make its way out. There is merconium that comes out and they pull the baby out quickly. It is another girl. Brenner and Carter immediately start working on the baby and the mother starts hemorrhaging. The uterus has turned itself inside out and came out through the cervix and all docs start working on her furiously.

In his apartment, Tony is trying to sleep but can’t due to all the noise.

Back to the mother – Dr. Wise finally gets the uterus back in and OB finally shows up and immediately takes the mother upstairs.

Tony goes to pick Sarah up at school and gives her a ride, asking her about the drinking game that Stacy played. She knows about it. He sets up her phone to call him if there is ever an emergency with drinking and she needs him – he says he’ll come, no questions asked.

Chaz tells Halle and Carter about Rachel and Carter immediately heads to see her. She gives him a huge hug. He invites her and Elizabeth Corday, who came with her but who isn’t on scene, to the opening of the Carter Center.

Tony and Alex are working on the car – for Sam.

Dr. Wise tells her patient that he can have chemo, but he decides to avoid chemotherapy. He says that he’s had enough time, and has watched his friends die. “I’ve had my time. No regrets.”He says that he hopes death is like how he felt when he went skydiving – floating free. He simply asks that the process doesn’t hurt.

Dr. Brenner gives the rundown for the evening guys and Tony’s patient is still there because she’s being transferred to Mercy.

Dr. Carter tries to butter up Dr. Banfield about Rachel Green’s applicant. She tells him that she made the first cut.

Dr. Brenner is talking to Neela via video chat and everyone gets in on the discussion when he is called away for the newborn babies. Dr. Carter goes with Brenner and they extibate the newborn who had merconium. She has good air movement and is going to be okay. The mother is still in surgery, or so Dr. Wise is told. The three brothers are invited in to meet their sisters, but the oldest wants to know where his mom is.

Dr. Morris takes in an elderly woman who was in a short time before who had been taken care of by Tony (I can’t remember her name now…) and her husband is with him. It is Mr. Manning and his wife.

Dr. Carter is giving a speech at the opening of his new facility He starts talking about why they named it the Joshua Carter Center and his wife sneaks in the back. Dr. Carter sees her during his speech. Dr. Lewis is there, as is Dr. Weaver and Dr. Benton.

Carter makes his way back to his wife but is pulled away before anything can be said between them.

Tony tells Mr. Manning that there is not really much they can do to help his wife as she has a DNR. He finally agrees to help make her as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Wise goes up to the OR to check on the mother. She discovers that the mother passed away in the OR.

Sam is surprised by her co-workers with a birthday cake and a lot of lovely singing. Alex shows up at the ER and pulls her outside to show her her present. Tony follows. He shows her a bright red beautiful mustang convertible. It’s hers. She’s speechless.

Dr. Brenner goes into the lounge to find Dr. Wise unsure if she can continue to do her job. The speech sounds very much like the one that Dr. Greene gave a very young Dr. Carter. In fact, I’d bet that it is the exact same speech…

Dr. Morris finds two women who were fighting at a wedding – the bride and her mother-in-law!

Carter is being picked on for all of his mistakes and he finally gets a moment to talk to his wife. Kem, by the way, looks exactly the same. She tells Carter that it’s hard for her to be in Chicago. He tries to talk her into lunch, and she says “maybe” and walks off.

Tony is called in to help with an older male patient whose penis hurts and who is a bit “grabby” with the female docs and nurses”. Tony checks him out and discovers that he fractured his penis. He needs surgery to fix his broken penis…(interesting!)

Sam calls Tony out for another patient and tells him that she loves the car but she can’t accept it because she knows that Tony paid for the car, but he says that Alex did all of the work on the car.

Sam goes in to talk with Mr. Manning, whose wife is dying. He says that he’s known his wife for 72 years.

Elizabeth shows up at the bar where all the other docs are chilling out and brings Rachel with her. They all start catching up but Carter definitely seems to be thinking about something else.

The bride and her mother-in-law are fighting each other from two different rooms and they’re trying to pull the groom in pieces, yelling “Donny – Donny – Donny”. Poor Donny!

Manning’s daughter shows up and says that she has no idea how her father put up with her mother for so long because she was so hard and tough as nails. She says that she can’t remember the last thing she and her mother fought about, but knew it was something stupid and she regretted it. Sam watches them all together through the door. After standing at the desk for a few minutes she calls her mother to talk to her.

The Doctors of old file out at 1 am and Susan and Rachel go with Carter to head to the ER. Benton walks Corday to her car (a Hummer – ha) They hug and go their separate ways (what a good conclusion to that relationship.)

Carter takes Rachel around to check out some patients and she looks a little interested/shocked/surprised. He shows her how to put an IV in.

Sam calls Tony away. Mrs. Manning has died. He shuts off her monitor while Mr. Manning cries. He kisses her hand (as this writer starts bawling).

Dr. Banfield finds Susan chatting behind the desk and definitely wonders who she is. She introduces herself.

Dr. Morris gets pulled away because his elderly woman, Beverly, who has wandered again and who is clearly altered. She thinks her daughter is a child first, and then that she is her sister.

Sam and Gates watch as Mr. Manning lays next to his wife. Sam reaches out and takes Tony’s hand.
Dr. Carter shoots a few hoops in the ambulance bay and Tony gets in on the game. Carter is trying to stay awake because he has an important phone call to make in a few hours and he doesn’t want to risk sleeping through it.

Tony is called back into the hospital because Stacy has started moving and thrashing around – the Mercy guys came to move her and that was when she started moving. He starts checking her out and says that she is responding but not in a purposeful way, so he’s getting another CT done. On the way out her stuffed animal, which her friend gave her earlier on, falls out and Tony picks it up.

The nurses/docs are telling stories to Rachel when an explosion occurs in a factory and all of the docs file out into the ambulance bay in order to start taking care of the multiple patients (at least 8). Rachel even stands out to watch. They stand, ready, gowns and protective glasses on as the ambulances come screaming into the bay.

Once they arrive the team scatters and starts caring for their trauma patients. Rachel watches. Carter rushes a patient into the building and looks at Rachel.

“Dr. Greene – you coming?”

Rachel runs into the hospital.

As the theme song plays, the camera pans out to show the entire ambulance bay for the first time ever, complete with the words “County General Hospital” on top of the building.

What did you think of the last episode of ER?

Wow. I’ve got a lot to say, but first let me give you some previews for the final two episodes.

Next Thurday we’ll have:

COUNTY’S DOCTORS AND NURSES HELP KIDS AT CAMP DEL CORAZON— TOM ARNOLD (“THE REPLACEMENTS”) AND COURTNEY B. VANCE (“LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT”) GUEST STAR– Many of the ER doctors and nurses help out at Camp Del Corazon, a camp for kids who have had open heart surgery. Working along side the camp counselor (guest star Tom Arnold), Morris (Scott Grimes) and Brenner (David Lyons) make a huge impact on several kids at the camp. Meanwhile, Dr. Banfield (Angela Bassett) and her husband (guest star Courtney B. Vance) feel their adoption dreams slipping away when a young mother comes back for the child she abandoned in the ER. Parminder Nagra, John Stamos and Linda Cardellini also star.

And the following Thursday, the LAST EPISODE OF ER, is this:

‘ER’ SERIES FINALE — NOAH WYLE RETURNS ALONG WITH MANY ‘ER’ ALUMS– ALEXIS BLEDEL (“GILMORE GIRLS”) AND ERNEST BORGNINE (“FROM HERE TO ETERNITY”) GUEST STAR—Gates (John Stamos) works on a young teen brought in with alcohol poisoning after playing a deadly drinking game with friends. Dr. Carter (guest star Noah Wyle) opens a new medical facility for the underprivileged in Chicago and some old friends from County General all come to show their support. It’s Sam’s (Linda Cardellini) birthday and Alex (Dominic Janes) and Gates surprise her with a special gift. Meanwhile, Carter works with an intern to save a mother in labor with twins. Parminder Nagra, Scott Grimes, David Lyons and Angela Bassett also star.

And for those who want more of Dr. Doug Ross and Carol Hathaway, here are the scenes they were in:

Now let me just talk about this for a minute. I was STOKED to see Dr. Ross and Carol back on the show - and to see them together again. I kinda wanted to see what their twins looked like, though, but I guess I can live without that. What drove me nuts, however, was how they never found out that Dr. Carter was involved!!

So here’s what I’m hoping. I’m hoping that this final episode brings every alive member of the crew back. Dr. Ross, Carol, Susan Lewis (OF COURSE SUSAN!), ect, and that we get to see them all together one last time. Do you think that’ll happen?

I finally got a chance to see this past Thursday’s episode - and wow. How amazing to see Dr. Carter back!! And, I’ve gotta tell you, it’s made me very curious about what’s going on. First, some answers.

Carter needs a transplant. I first thought that he was undergoing chemo, but no, he’s on dialysis because he needs a kidney transplant. Sound familiar? Remember oh so many years ago when Carter’s kidney was injured by a psycho patient? Now it looks like he’s got to have a transplant. And who is the best person to do that transplant?

How about Dr. Benton? Eric LaSalle has already directed an episode, and he’s also going to be in an episode!

In three episodes, Dr. Benton and Dr. Carter are going to interact again!

Lots More Below -

More on that in a minute. First, the episode next week - here’s the preview:

The next episode is called T-Minus 6

A DAY TO FORGET—NOAH WYLE, COURTNEY B. VANCE (“LAW AND ORDER, CRIMINAL INTENT”) AND AMY MADIGAN (“GREY’S ANATOMY”) GUEST STAR—After getting frustrated with In Vitro Fertilization Dr. Banfield (Angela Bassett) and her husband (guest star Courtney B. Vance) decide to try an adoption agency to fulfill their dreams of having a family. Dr. Carter (guest star Noah Wyle) quickly tries to jump back into working at County but struggles with all the new procedures and technology. Sam (Linda Cardellini) is shocked when her mom (guest star Amy Madigan) comes into the ER in an altered state of mind. John Stamos, Parminder Nagra, Scott Grimes and David Lyons also star.

Now, more on Carter and Benton - in three episodes, this is what’s planned:

DOCTORS STRUGGLE TO SAVE TWO TRANSPLANT PATIENTS—NOAH WYLE AND ERIQ LA SALLE GUEST STAR—Neela (Parminder Nagra) and Sam (Linda Cardellini are shocked when they arrive back to the airport with transplant organs only to find that their plane has left them. Dr. Carter (guest star Noah Wyle) gets a surprise visit from an old friend (guest star Eriq La Salle) while waiting for his kidney transplant. Dr. Banfield (Angela Bassett) bonds with an abandoned baby boy that is left at the ER. John Stamos, Scott Grimes and David Lyons also star.

How about the last episode? I’m still digging up dirt on that one, but here’s what the casting call for the last episode looked like:

[GHANDI] This startlingly thin and elegant, stylish Gay man in his early 60s has been living with the HIV/AIDS virus for more than 20 years.
Oh My Gosh, I’m sorry guys! It’s been awhile since I posted here and even though I have good reasons (I was in Chicago for a few days), I have really no excuse for not posting.

Let me catch you up. First of all, I’ve watched the last two episodes. While two week’s ago’s episode wasn’t horrible, LAST night’s episode was awesome. I loved the camera work (thanks Eric LaSalle!), especially in the beginning, and I loved the little story lines inside of the episode.

My favorite one was the mother/aunt who was taking care of the daughter. Then the uncle/father comes into the picture and acts like he’s going to take care of her, but once he realizes how big of a responsibility it is to take care of a 9 year old, he disappears.

The episode was one of the better ones I’ve seen this season. We learn in it that Neela has an interview to be attending down in North Carolina, which makes Brenner confused and worried at the same time. We ALSO learn that next week, our boy Noah Wylie will be back for FIVE EPISODES! Hopefully one of those episodes will be when Dr. Ross is back - how amazing would that be?!

Do you think that ER is getting better as the season winds to a close, or worse?

You want spoilers? You got them! See below!

Now all of the doctors, and nurses, are in! TV Guide Magazine has learned that Sherry Stringfield will return to ER as the NBC show approaches its April 2 series finale, which means all of the series’ original cast members have come back for a farewell.

She’s the last to sign on, following the likes of George Clooney, Julianna Margulies, Noah Wyle and Anthony Edwards, who have already filmed scenes.

Yay! Sherry Stringfield’s coming back! But wait - I thought Julianna Margulies said that she wasn’t going to bring Carol Hathaway back?? What happened there?!

How do you think they’ll bring all of these doctors back?!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days - a big project took me by storm. But when I resurfaced, I discovered that apparently George Clooney isn’t as adverse to returning to the ER as Julianna Margulies is. Margulies has said that she will not return as Nurse Carol Hathaway, but Dr. Ross is returning, which is even better!

According to People, George will return for a cameo, but we don’t know for how long! The set was closed so we have no way of knowing if we’ll see Dr. Ross for one minute, or lots.

I’m really excited about this, but basically? I just hope that tonight’s episode isn’t as bad as last weeks was. I’ll be back later tonight with my recap and opinions of the episode!

So the sad news is that we’ve only got until the end of March for new episodes of ER. Which means just as I’ve taken over the site, the show is going to be over! Nooooo! The good news is that we get to see tons of our favorite characters, such as Dr. Corday! Now I know Thursday’s episode was a bit…strange…but I also know that it was really nice to see Dr. Corday. I only wish she’d returned to the ER just to say hi to everyone! And I love that Jerry has been back, and, of course, seeing Dr. Greene was absolutely amazing.

Am I the only one who still cries whenever I see the episode that he dies?

Anyway, we do have a few spoilers about what is going to happen in the next few episodes, and about which characters are coming back. In order to make sure that those who don’t want to know aren’t forced to know, I’m putting all of the spoilers that I’ve got under the break!

She shows up in Sam’s life with a plan to move Mom to Chicago so Sam can pitch in with her care. This doesn’t go over well, since Mom kicked Sam out of the house 15 years ago when she was pregnant - and they haven’t spoken a word since. Kelly and Sam haven’t been close either - they’ve interacted only once or twice in the past 15 years so there is a lot of work that needs to be done if these sisters are to re-connect.

Show starts out with Neela talking about how the hardest thing about being a doctor isn’t being lonely or the long hours – it’s “something else”. She lying in bed and gets a phone call from Ray at 5 am. She’s actually at the hospital and on call. It’s Ray’s birthday apparently. Her pager keeps going off and she goes to see the girl from last week who has sickle cell anemia. She’s getting sicker and may need her gall bladder taken out. Neela wants her transferred to the PICU. She did a fortune for Neela and she said that she’ll be “back soon” to hear the fortune.

Neela’s overview then says that the hardest thing is making a decision quickly. She apparently has a different idea about how to treat the girl but doesn’t voice out loud. She races downstairs to the ER and sees Dr. Banfield giving herself an injection. She gets snagged by Gates to help treat a patient who is a “dream running” – he acts out what he dreams about instead of sitting still, like most people do.

Sam gives Gates back the Blackhawk tickets and tells him that it’s okay if he goes and takes someone else. He says that he doesn’t want to go with anyone else.

Jerry takes Morris outside and shows him that he’s revived his father’s motorcycle – it looks amazing. Jerry tells him that it belongs to him and Morris starts it up, with Jerry telling him to “keep the shiny side up”. He runs straight into a garbage container!

Neela is beginning surgery on the young sickle cell girl and says that she cancelled her interview.

Down in the ER, Dr. Banfield is having hot flashes while they’re treating the dream runner. Sam says that she has to go and shows up upstairs with Neela’s patient taking over the anesthesiologist’s spot because she’s doing her rotation. Suddenly the patient wakes up, sits up, and screams when she sees her stomach!

The rest of the recap is below!

The anesthesiologist is back and he was the one who made the mistake – he forgot to tell Sam to turn something back up. The dream runner needs a surgeon but they can’t go down because they’re taking care of the girl. Dr. Banfield wants to give the patient an angio and is arguing with Gates – he tells his girlfriend that in his dreams, she’s “always the girl” and his heart starts to fail.

Back up in the OR the girl goes into Vtach.

Banfield’s in the angio room and they’re shocking the dream running patient. Morris sees that his belly is full of blood. Gates goes into the OR to get Neela and she reluctantly leaves Dubenko doing CPR on the girl and rushes down to the dream runner. Just as she gets there, Banfield calls it.

Morris and Banfield are arguing – she says that she wishes she could do it over but there was “no way to know” if there was belly in the blood. Morris says that she still doesn’t fit in because they’re a team and work together, but that Banfield thinks that she’s better and so she won’t let herself be a part of their ER. She throws her pass to Jerry and asks him to turn it into human resources and tells Neela that she’s going home.

She throws her phone and Simon walks up – he just returned from Australia. She tells him that it’s been a horrible day – that she’s helped kill 2 patients.

Back from commercial and Neela’s back in the same bed, and once again it’s 5:04 am and the phone is ringing. And it’s Ray – again – we’re reliving the day over again. Back with the sickle cell girl again and this time she speaks up to Dubenko and tells him that she could die on the table and asks him to move her to the PICU and to do a different course of treatment for a day. He says that it’s a good idea and that they’ll do it.

Neela goes down to the ER – having an odd conversation with a transport specialist while she’s at it, and this time actually asks Banfield what she’s doing. She tells Neela that she’s trying to get pregnant. She says that the drugs are making her a “bitch” and that everything is getting on her nerves.

Banfield: “Maybe I should quit.”
Neela: “Oh no – don’t be silly”

Jerry catches Neela she’s needed for a trauma and Banfield says that she heard that Neela is interviewing for another position – that Dubenko has been complaining about her leaving. Neela is surprised because she says he set up all the interviews and Banfield says that “that’s the game”.

We’re in the trauma room hearing the dream runner explain his condition again to Nela and Tony. This time Sam doesn’t get the chance to give him the tickets and instead just says “I’ve got something to give you later”. They’re doing an ultrasound on the patient and Neela runs down to the PICU to do rounds where she sees the girl again. Her oxygen level’s a bit low still and the mom goes to talk to Neela. They’re waiting to see if her immune system will conquer the infection.

Dubenko and Neela are talking and she says that she’s thinking of canceling the interview, but Dubenko says that he’ll take over the patient. She says that she doesn’t understand why Dubenko is pushing for her to do other interviews but why he seems to want her to stay but has never asked. He says “we can’t have this discussion until you’ve seen what’s out there. Go.”

Gates and Neela meet at the convenience store. She says that she feels bad that Gates and Sam have broken up. She repeats what the guy on the elevator told her – “inaction is in and of itself action”.

Her cell phone falls and once again Simon picks it up and she’s much happier to see him this time. She says that she’s not sure what she wants in her life and he responds that she doesn’t need to know where she’s going, but that she just has to keep moving forward. This time we see Jerry driving on the motorcycle.

Neela heads to her interview and opens the door to find Dr. Corday!

She explains that she loved England for awhile but that she got the call from Duke and realized that she missed the US. Ella is now 8 and Corday shows her a quick pic, but we don’t really get to see it.
Corday starts to interview Neela and her beeper goes off. She says that she doesn’t think County’s really in her future. Corday says that County’s an amazing place and that it made her the person that she is and changed her life. She said that she considered going back, but that there is “something to be said for getting away from the place that you trained”. The beeper goes off again and she says she has to leave. She tells Dr. Corday to come by and visit County sometime.

Gates tries to talk to Sam but a nurse interrupts him because he’s got to intubate the Dream Runner guy. Banfield wants angio again but Gates disagrees.

Neela is running back and Debunko is at the hospital intubating the young girl. Morris is at the elevator arguing with Banfield and asks for Neela’s opinion as she’s running up the stairs. She says to get a CT and Banfield says to “take him to the scanner”.

She gets to the young girls’ from as Debunko is doing CPR on her and the nurse gets a call that there’s a full arrest at the scanner from “some guy who jumped through a window”. It’s the Dream Runner and he’s dead. Neela keeps doing CPR on the girl into commercial.

And we’re BACK in the bed again – at 5:04 am – with Neela answering the phone for Ray once again. Debunko and Neela are once again checking out the girl and this time Neela gives Debunko a different idea about treating the girl – a different type of treatment that is less invasive. She avoids the elevators this time and hits the stairs. She ignores Banfield’s shot scene and is helping to treat the Dream Runner patient. This time Gates brings up the tickets and asks if it’s okay for him to take Alex. Sam says that she’ll think about it.

A test that Neela did – an old one – shows that the Dream Runner has internal bleeding and that he’ll need surgery.

Jerry grabs Morris to show him the motorcycle but we cut to Neela in a treatment room with Debunko and the girl. He aspirates and they get the puss-stuff out of the girl and then tells Neela to go to the interviews. She says she can’t leave, but he tells her to go – and how he hopes, once she’s gone, that she’ll decide to stay at County. She’d get to be an assistant professor with full benefits. That she’ll get an official offer in a few weeks. He says that whatever happens “you’ll have a backup plan here.” But still advises her to go. She does.

She runs into Gates in the ambulance bay and tells him to repeat the ultrasound on Dream Runner guy to stay ahead of the blood loss. This time a garbage guy whacks into her and Simon again picks up her phone, but she says she can’t talk because she’s late. Morris is looking at his bike and Simon asks if they can borrow it. He brings Neela to the interview and he says that he missed being there when he was in Australia. That he missed her. They almost ksis and Simon tells her that she needs to go. She says, before she goes in, that she missed him too…”a little”.

Back at County, Sam and Gates are checking the patient’s belly again with ultrasound. He tells Sam to hang 2 units of blood and to call the OR again.

Corday and Neela are walking through the lobby and Corday says that Neela should go visit Duke. Simon’s in the lobby and gets introduced to Corday briefly. Corday, it sounds like, offered Neela the position. Simon shows Neela a card and it’s to a hotel room! The two head up there and go at it.

The Dream Runner is crashing because the OR says that it’s going to be 45 minutes before they get him into the OR. The show alternates between scenes of Simon and Neela and shocking the Dream Runner. Banfield says that it’s enough, and she says that she’s going to take care of the problem herself, as she cuts into the patient to fix the problem.

Banfield is trying to clamp the aorta and eventually does, as Neela’s running back to County. She gets into the OR just as they shock his heart back. She takes him upstairs and Tony and Sam start talking in the room – she says that Alex would love to go to the Hawks game with Tony, and thanks him.
Neela checks on the girl again and this time gets her fortune. The fortune is “your actions are the seeds of fate.”

Once again it’s 5:04, and the phone is going off. Neela wakes up and the show goes off to the song “Mad World”.

Hi! My name is Randi and I sort of hijacked this blog.

Let me explain.

I’ve been a professional blogger for two years now and am currently running two other fan sites - Watching House and Brad Pitt Watch. But neither of those sites pertains to ER.

I began watching ER a long, long, LONG time ago. When I was in college, I wasn’t able to see ER very often, on account of the fact that I didn’t have cable, but I was able to catch up when I had my son and was at home for awhile, watching ER twice a day on TNT.

Like most fans of the show, there have been times when I have faded away, and then times when I have come back, but it’s comforting to know that I’ll be able to see my favorite actors on the show no matter how long I’m away.

Like all fans I have favorite episodes, which I’ll get into more tomorrow, and like most fans I have favorite characters.

While I’m sad that this is the last season, I am extremely enjoying the episodes! I’m stoked to see some of my favorite characters, including Mark Greene, show up.

What has your favorite episode of the season been so far? And which character do you want to return? Or have they returned already?

Just know that I plan on giving you not only recaps of the shows after they happen, but also any spoilers and information about the actors that I can find! Is there anything specific you’d like to see?
